How we support distributors

Four kinds of support, from the first call to the hundredth project.

A distributor should be able to sell, specify and install a complete system in their own market with their own people. That takes more than a price list.

Installation

Installer training on site or at our facility, method statements for every system, a pre-cover inspection checklist, and remote support on your first projects until your crews no longer need it.

Marketing

Brand assets, heat visuals, product photography, brochures and datasheets in your language, and co-branded material for exhibitions and showrooms. A website presence on our distributor map.

Sales engineering

Heat-loss calculations, layout drawings and priced proposals prepared by our design team for your projects, so you can quote a complete system from the first meeting.

Training

Product, physics and specification training for your sales team and your installers, with certification on completion. Refreshed as the range develops.

The material

Carbon fibre is what makes a heating element safe to bury.

A fifth the density of steel with several times its tensile strength, tolerant of temperatures no building will ever see, chemically inert and absorbing no moisture. Woven into a full-surface element, it means the whole area emits at a low temperature, instead of a wire running hot on a spacing.

Our elements are manufactured in widths from 50 to 1000 mm, at 5 to 3000 W/m², for voltages from 5 to 680 V AC or DC. Every one is cut to the layout drawing of the room it is going into.

SafeTech · five tests every element passes

Safety is not a claim we make about the system. It is a set of tests the element itself passes, filmed in our own laboratory, and the certifications that follow from them.

  • Direct flame test

    Fire resistance

    The element is held in direct flame. It does not sustain a flame or propagate one along the film.

  • Submerged and energised

    Water immersion

    Submerged and energised. Zero moisture absorption, which is what lets the element go into a bathroom or a wet room.

  • Grounding test

    Full-surface grounding

    A grounded conductive layer across the whole element rather than a wire with a sheath, so a fault anywhere on the surface is carried to earth.

  • HIPOT test

    High-potential test

    Every element is HIPOT tested before it leaves the factory, at multiples of its working voltage.

  • Flex and puncture test

    Structural integrity

    Flexed, punctured and pulled. A damaged area is spliced in place and re-tested rather than replaced.
